Hi Megan,

Thanks for the comment and compliments. Will put up some more pictures in while too.

By the way, a funny thing about this Crocodile Hunter story is that when I told my wife about it, she couldn't understand why I was so sad, because she thought I meant "Crocodile Dundee" !!! So, she thought I was strange to take that guy's death so hard... It took a day for her to realize that it actually was "Hunter" and not "Dundee" - and then she also got very sad because she was a big fan and had actually met him in person once on a flight between Cairns and Brisbane! She used to work in Australia and she said that she feels sympathy towards the Australian people because she knows how well-loved he was.

Hey Johan,

Yep, an Australian icon is dead... strange, I never really watched his show but I was going to go to his zoo when I returned to Aus in October, I thought it might be an interesting cultural experience for my English boyfriend!

Congratulations on your wedding, the pictures look beautiful!

Thanks for dropping by my journal... found yours through some extended browsing a while back, always interesting reading about other gaijins in Japan :)
