We are just hamsters in a wheel
Just read this: Japan Railway passengers to generate electricity at train stations (via: Newsvine) and it got me thinking that we are just a few steps away from being hamsters in wheels in full Matrix style…. OK, maybe not yet… 
Anyway, I’m back from my vacation by the way. End of the drought, I hope!
Hey, thanks for linking to that article; I never would have found it on my own. Anyway, I think that’s a pretty interesting concept. This was my favorite line from the article: “Busy train stations (and those with large numbers of passengers [b]willing to bounce heavily through the gates[/b]) will be able to accumulate a relatively large amount of electricity.”
